Dream Zoo How Much Does it Cost to Customize an Animal

Since Zynga decided that we are allowed to customize our animals, they have implemented some cost associated with the ability.

As with any Zynga games, they will initally make it cheap, but will eventually nerf the hell out of it.

Anyhoo... getting back to the point of the blog...The total cost to customize depends on the individual animal itself. It looks like I have to do another spreadsheet (bleh).  But usually, each zone costs the same...usually.

An easy way to think about it is this, Use Zynga bucks on the left side of the screen, and using Hearts on the sliders (right side). Each Change will incur one amount of bucks or hearts. You can use the slider as much as you want and it will cost the same for that animal. Each Column costs a different amount and you will be charged according to how many columns you have changed. They will add up the costs from each column and charge you accordingly. Sliders are charged once, you can use the top and the side slider and it will just cost the same number of hearts.

If you use a Zoo buck to customize, then you don't have to pay any Hearts.

As I don't have any animals from the first 2 zones, I won't be posting them here.

I will post in the following pattern: The Zone (Habitat) / Bucks from 1st column / Bucks from 2nd column / Bucks from 3rd Column / Bucks from 4th Column / Hearts

These are ROUGH numbers, from the last animal from each zone. I will do a spreadsheet with individual numbers associated with them soon.

Plains / ? / ?

Holiday / ? / ?

Rainforest / 2 / 2 / 1 / 5 / 5

Desert / 2 / 2 / 1 / 5 / 5

Marsh / 2 / 2 / 1 / 5 / 5

Forest / 4 / 4 / 2 / 10 / 10

Arctic / 4 / 4 / 2 / 10 / 10

Mountain / 6 / 6 / 3 / 15 / 15

Jungle / 6 / 6 / 3 / 15 / 15

Grassland / 6 / 6 / 3 / 15 / 15

Tropical / 8 / 8 / 4 / 20 / 20

After looking at some of the Animals, I'm very confused as to how Zynga came up with some of the numbers. I though it was linear, but it's all over the place. Some animals with low timers have high costs, some with low timers have low costs. /shrug . I guess someone arbitrarily gave numbers to them.

***Edit***
Currently, I'm working on the document below
Dream Zoo Animal Customization Cost Schedule

**Edit 2**
Unless someone corrects me, I'm going to presume the Plains and Holiday Costs the same as the Rainforest Animals.
